What a good kid, he’s so delicate and soft spoken, his words are really comforting and his expression is very warm 🥺. They build a great relationship wonderful companionship. I love how they are weak but brave for the people they care. What a great ep, it really shows how this characters are willing to go. It’s really warming to witness such loyalty, friendship, it’s amazing that people like them still exist *though in their reality*. Amazing to be always present for all that eternity.
Felt like a little bridging episode, but it was fun seeing their preparation and all. And that ending definitely raised the stakes for the story!
We've explored more on Sasuke's character but I feel like it's a little too late since there's barely any build to his relationship with Ichitaro when compared with Nichiki. They could have used episodes to contrast how they devoted themselves to their master, so I can't get invested to his backstory.
