EPISODE REVIEWS

The animation is really good, the 1st ep is really interesting, it’s gives brief idea as to what the anime will be but does not give you everything. Tbh I did not expect much from this series, but I stand corrected. It’s really goood the animation, graphics, the scenery, the characters, the story, and the fun with it. Especially, the history and culture of Nihon back in the days is highlighted it’s really awesome, very fresh in the eyes. The young master is such a good kid ( ^ _ ^ ).

The animation and aesthetic are not only good but seemed true to form of Edo period. The episode establish the premise on the first half, but not a lot of conflict that the story gets drag on for too long, and the source of conflict is only established at the end. The youkais exist to help the protagonist in his daily lives, but it barely anything flashy or intriguing.

I thought this was going to be a creepy and more leaning towards horror type of show, but it turns out way more different and more interesting than I thought, so we’ll give it a chance✨ I’m still getting used to the old Japanese vibe, but it’s honestly so intriguing! Plus the supernatural aspect of it caught me way off guard!! It just genuinely feels like a very unique anime🫶🏻
