This was such a good episode, beautifully curated, the dialogue was amazing, the fighting as well and as a viewer you getting a clear picture of this war that's brewing.

We finally got to see a classic from the old Sengoku Basara - Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune duke it out once more. However, it's much darker and more unsettling, as Masamune was pretty much consumed by rage, ready kill his longtime rival. The rest of the episode is again Ieyasu and Ishida (with his allies) recruiting other clans for their own cause. I don't mind the slow burn, but I do wish they'd stop constantly switching scenes so quickly all the time!

I like the battle background music in the beginning. It makes the fight scene more intense. The narration of this anime is starting to get annoying for me. Story-building episode. A lot happened in this episode. This episode covers a lot of scenes that should take two episodes or more.
