EPISODE REVIEWS

I like the pace in this episode, we see how the characters deal with aftermath that took place. I enjoyed the dialogues that highlighted themes such as grief, anger and vengeance. This episode was well balanced.

The first half of the episode leans towards emotions and grief from the previous episode. Ishida's voice actor is so good at producing that kind of grief in the character. The second half was full of wars and battles, but I didn't enjoy much of it. They showed almost all of the battles from other factions, which is too much for a single episode.

From one series of battles from the last episode to another on this one, it seems like there's no letting up at all! This time, we get to see more of Sanada Yukimura, alongside his allies showcasing their skills combatting Ieyasu's army. We also get to see more new characters along the way. One thing I have to say is that I wish they didn't switch from the different scenes so much, as this makes it somewhat difficult to follow. Nevertheless, I am still intrigued and looking forward to watching more of this!
