The first episode of The Silent Witch. The premise is clear, with why Monica can do what she does in the world she lives in. And the plot seemed to be clear from the get go, with Louis explaining it to Monica directly. I really like how clear cut everything is. The animation is really good too, especially because this is a magic centric anime, so my expectation is quite high. Overall a really good beginning! (I alrealy know, my favorite character would be Isabelle)
The beginning is pretty comfy with some whimsy! Monica is so real for how she learnt her magic. I'm excited to see how school life goes for her!
Really enjoyed the first episode. The pacing is calm without dragging, and the writing makes everyday moments surprisingly entertaining while hinting at bigger things ahead. The visuals are polished and expressive. It never feels rushed, which makes it easy to get invested.
