EPISODE REVIEWS

Imo, this episode was even worse than before. Akane really showed that if people want to follow all of their dark desires, they will do it. And that is pretty scary. Mugi in this episode also really showed that love can make you stupid. To be honest, I got emotionally carried away several times already (actually since the beginning lol). This series is very messy for me, but I love it.

This episode 5 presents a psychologically raw narrative that strips away romantic illusions, forcing characters to confront the self-destructive patterns they've built to survive their loneliness.

This anime really knows how to use colours to define bold themes, emotions and character traits. Mugi and Hanabi are both similar in nature. They exploit their emotions and use the very thing that they hate so much. I really like how the narrative grapples with this with care and gives the audience a full display without censoring. The Pace in this episode is faster than the previous ones – a kind of emotional rollercoaster. It also ends with a greater foreshadowing, too.
