Yep, just as I thought, Narumi was like a prince who saved Akane. This episode was pretty sweet for Narumi and Akane’s development. I enjoyed it, seeing Akane slowly starting to question herself and ‘fall.’This is my favorite Akane episode so far.

The metamorphosis Akane went through is something else. It is totally fueled by the unique characteristics of Kanai. This episode is still the best one in this series. It gives us a fulfilled vibe. While the majority of the anime focuses on the troubling emotion, here it works on the corporeal ones. This is why Scum’s Wish is better than most other romance anime; it shows the true human emotion with all its shades. The use of multiple mirrors as a metaphor is excellent in this episode.
