They stood there watching their enemies scheme for ages and then implement said scheme just to continue watching to finally being surprise their attacks didn't work?! Honestly, the writing here just got so bad.

Episode Context

Episode 11 sits at the critical penultimate slot, arriving right after "Lloyd Fights" (Episode 10) and directly before the introspective finale "Lloyd is Aware He Lacks Power" (Episode 12). This positioning suggests it serves as the season's action climax, the highest point of Lloyd's demonstrated strength before the finale shifts toward self-reflection and emotional resolution. The progression from fighting to flying to acknowledging limitations traces a clear character arc that this episode likely pushes to its peak.
