EPISODE REVIEWS
The story has progressed a lot. It's gotten more serious, and the stakes are much higher, which makes it exciting and gets you hyped for the next episodes. The animation is really good.
First time watching it, and so far it's pretty experimental in a sense with its animation since it's more simplified and cartoony in comparison to the usual anime that I watch. That said, the premise was alright but the whole episode really didn't catch my attention as much as I'd hope for as I know that people have said that Scissor Seven has some good animation, and I would probably believe them considering that it has an artstyle that would make it plausible. Though unfortunately even with that in mind, I just don't feel any interest or any hook that makes me want to watch the next episode. Though I will continue moving forward. Also pacing was too rushed for me.
This is a super solid premiere episode: paying homage to the dynamics of fan-favorite characters while igniting a brand-new, far more dangerous adventure.
