Episode Context

Sitting at roughly the one-third mark of the 26-episode season, this episode shifts from the previous episode's pool hijinks to domestic comedy while deepening the Tenma-Karasuma and Harima love triangle dynamics through new misunderstandings. It continues building the pattern of romantic near-misses and communication failures that will compound throughout the season. The food-centric premise also develops Eri's character beyond her usual role, setting up her increasing involvement in the show's romantic entanglements going forward.
