Elsa staying up all night watching dramas because Peeps narrated them like a soap opera is the funniest thing this show has done all season. The bird is a menace and I respect it

Episode Context

"Concealment and Infiltration" splits its time between two registers. Elsa anchors the first half, with the pressure of her arranged marriage treated seriously rather than as a joke, and Sasaki and Peeps take on a more protective, compassionate role in her situation. The tone then loosens into conversational fish-out-of-water comedy as Elsa meets unfamiliar aspects of Sasaki's world. A parallel thread sends Sasaki and Futari Shizuka into a school-based assignment that surfaces Hoshizaki's everyday troubles, with Shindo and Manami present. The episode runs on character care, awkward social encounters, and the contrast between private crises and mundane modern-life humor rather than a single confrontation, and the series' comedy and fantasy balance holds across both halves.
