that cut from Elsa's body straight into the cheerful ED is the single most unhinged editing choice I have seen all year and I need to know who approved it

Abaddon crushing those two followers was nasty. like I knew this show could go dark but not that dark

Episode Context

Sasaki takes a cautious observer role as a tense supernatural thriller plays out in modern Japan, where a clash involving Abaddon, angelic disciples, psychics, and Magical Pink overlaps with the Bureau's sphere. Elsa's storyline applies somber, courtly pressure from the other world. The tone runs far darker than the series' usual workplace comedy and fantasy surface, and the contrast between Sasaki's restrained manner and the chaos around him carries the episode. Pacing is fast and escalation-driven, built on uncertainty and mismatched supernatural systems. Characters confront stakes they do not yet fully understand. Otonari-san and Futari Shizuka are part of the cross-genre mix. The episode is an escalation piece rather than a self-contained case.
