In episode eight Fuyumura keeps blowing things up, although we never learn how she got so good at making bombs. I like how Sanda is dealing with being an inexperienced Santa, since he can't fight children it's fun watching him handle the situation with class 10.

Definitely funnier than the rest... with the whole thing between Niko and Sanda. And ofc the two creepy characters are in cahoots with each other.

Fuyumura has that aura on her huh she is badass indeed. I love how Niko is so bratty, when she shows up the mood just gets better. She is so cute, i still dont know who to ship for Sanda. Great breather episode though but something at the end puts me on the edge of my seat.

It's so funny how Saburou Yagiuda was trying to help Sanda Kazushige even though he's supposed to kill Santa Claus. It's interesting how Ono seem to experience adulthood so quickly when she's the same age as them. Fumi is definitely as creepy as the headmaster.

Shiori saving Sanda from Fumi was intense. Sanda’s reaction during the romantic moment with Niko is hilarious. He struggles to control his powers as emotions collide, blending chaotic humor with a tense, heartfelt test of self-restraint.

As the title suggets this episode this episode focuses more on the romance of Niko and Sanda, with Sanda making the first move

Fuyumura’s motive is amazing, but where did she get a bomb?! Sanda showing restraint romantically was so real, only to be interrupted by the relatable Santa hunter 😂 A cheek kiss had to do! Also, adult Ono?! And the Headmaster seems immortal now!

This episode slows things down again, more buildup than action. The atmosphere is still heavy, just not as intense. It’s fine for development, but not super memorable. Still worth watching if you’re following the story 😐

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode run, Episode 8 serves as a critical pivot from the external threats escalated in Episode 7 toward the internal stakes that will fuel the final act. This introspective beat lays essential groundwork for the approaching 'Peak of Youth' ceremony, signaling that personal and external conflicts are about to collide. It's the kind of mid-late season recalibration that separates shows with a payoff from those without one.
