Episode ten gives us action scenes under a beautiful twilight sky, Sanda's story is getting good development but I feel like Ono's and Fuyumura's relationship could've been handled better. Hifumi really sent Namatame to die, there's no way he thought she could defeat Santa.

"There's not one good thing about becoming an adult. To be an adult is to know nothing but pain" sounds about right. The fight scenes were mid. Go Santa! Namatame really freaks me out. And yes, children can be horribly cruel.

Yaguida slowly crawls into your heart from these past episodes and this episode. And Niko takes my heart fully lol. I can never be angry with Niko, she is just adorable. Pace was a slow one but entertaining AF. Animation is great with all the lighting on the festival.

Its adorable how Niko Kazao genuinely loves Sanda, especially during their scene together. Fumi Namatame is definitely creepier than the headmaster. I find it bittersweet how Ichie Ono really loves Shiori but struggles because of her body rapidly changing.

So much happens at the Peak of Youth Ceremony! Perfectly timed, Niko steals Sanda’s first kiss at twilight. Namatame threatens Santa, and Sanda’s transformation into Black Santa shocks Yagiuda. The episode blends heartfelt romance with tense, high-stakes action.

This episode felt quiet and emotional. The moment between Sanda and Niko got really intense and sweet.

We get this anime's version of the festival scene, this episode esthablishes Namatame as the next big threat, not much is happening in this episode a more slice of life episode than the previous

Now it really starts to feel serious, the tension doesn’t drop and the interactions feel heavier. Sanda carries the episode easily. A few predictable beats, but still very engaging overall. Yeah this keeps you locked in 😳

We get Yagiuda’s tragic love flashback! Sanda finally gets his kiss! Yagiuda losing a shootout to a 14-year-old is crazy lmao. The massive team-up where Santa backs up his friends, and even Nawatame joins the war, is incredible. Everyone united for Santa! 🤝

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 10 of 12, this installment bridges the fallout from Sanda's confrontation with his mentor's brutal philosophy and Fuyumura's crisis over Ono's transformation into the series' climactic final stretch. The Coming-of-Age Ceremony takes center stage, deepening personal stakes while Namatame's escalating threat locks the remaining pieces into place. Everything here is calibrated to prime the final two episodes for maximum impact.
