Ep start felt good with Shin's side taking focus. Finally, we get to learn why Sakamoto's fan girl became his fan. Action is good considering the slow pacing in the previous eps, ending sets a strong tone with a small cliffhanger that could lead to a wild fight.

This episode is a fun, crazy mix of silly jokes and stylish action. It doesn't have the same emotional impact or animation quality as earlier episodes, but it does have memorable character moments and creative fight choreography

Gaku is like that tired underpaid employee but still choose to work because nothing worthwhile to do and like doing his job. The trio are so young, strong, and pretty. So that her. Its all starting to lined up. I can't helped but thrilled on what's next, I don't need sleep, lol

The growth on Shin is awesome and his making new friends is great. The plot twists of Gaku and his 'drone'., it is great plot progression. With the test going on you could almost forget why they are taking it to begin with.

Another twist in the episode! The cliffside fight and Shin’s growth are great- but the highlight reveal of truth about Shinaya. It was mind blowing🤯. However watching Sakamoto’s team just chilling while Shin is fighting for his life is the exact contrast I like to watch😂

This episode is all about Shin; his clash with Toramaru isn’t just a fight, it’s pride vs real understanding. He finally fights like Sakamoto would, and it shows. Their rivalry shifts into respect, but the sudden chaos reminds you this exam isn’t safe at all. Humor is balanced.

A fun yet tense episode that balances humor with action. Toramaru’s obsession leads to entertaining clashes, while Shin’s clever use of his ability stands out. The sudden shift with Shinaya adds intensity, keeping the momentum strong.

this episode was nonstop chaos. the exam turned into a slaughterhouse, and the animation during the massacre was brutal. watching everyone scramble to survive while trying to figure out what was happening? the tension was suffocating. that post-credits scene? wild. 🔥

That was intense, especially mentioning the fight against shinaya. I mean, wow shin has improved a lot, and I really can't wait for him to grow more and utilize more of his psychic abilities. This episode also shows how their enemies are pretty serious and skillful.

I like how Nao conceded the title of top fan to Shin after he defeated and saved her. It’s a light but meaningful moment that shows her sincerity and gives Shin a small win beyond the fight. Now they team up to face Shinaya, raising the stakes for what comes next.

Shin, Mafuyu, Toramaru, and Kaji as a reluctant squad against a berserk Shinaya is the crossover content I didn't know I needed. Toramaru and Shin calling a truce because they both want to protect the same person is quietly the sweetest character beat of the arc. I love it!!❤️❤️

The dynamic here is unusual, with both sides showing a strange kind of respect.
It adds a different tone compared to the usual fights.
Not the most intense, but definitely interesting.

Focuses of Nao vs Shin. Nao showed a lot of emotions and attitude in this episode. Relatable as a fangirl myself hahaha Sakamoto gang is getting bigger and bigger. So excited to see the chemistry of all these characters!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up after 'Exam, Stage Three' ramped up the JCC exam's intensity, this ninth episode deepens the personal rivalries and alliances forming under pressure—particularly the Shin-Toramaru dynamic. As the penultimate arc episodes before the season's climax, it serves as a crucial bridge into 'Hard Mode,' shifting from character-driven revelations toward the escalating dangers that will define the final two episodes.
