Ep builds well on tension, new character's intro is good enough imo, exam setup feels fun with a nostalgic shonen anime vibe. Pacing gets slow but picks up in the middle. Sakamoto's fangirl is interesting. Overall, it's a fun ep with very little revealed about the villains.

Now who could that be. Sakamoto is like too old for this test. Shin is really strategic. Its a fun episode as always, they really add random funny scene here and there. I remember Naruto upon watching the forest tag scene. Sakamoto team are the goat.

Sakamoto crying over Shin's growth is so cute! Stage three starts out fast and the reveals are such a twist. The name drop is awesome, can't wait to find out more backstory. The whole plot drags you in.

The third round of the exam is getting more interesting with the addition of new characters. But who surprised me the most is Akira! Seeing her transition from shy to a deadly trance was animated so smoothly. That Akao name drop at the end? Absolute chills!😮

Shifts into strategy and team play, tail tags, and nonstop mind games. Shin finally stands on his own, while Akira’s sudden switch flips the tension hard. That reveal hits deep and changes how you see her completely. The falling scene is insane, and Kanaguri is crazy enjoying it!

A strong setup episode that introduces new players and shifting team dynamics. The “tail tag” game adds a strategic layer, while Akira’s moment under pressure hints at something deeper. The reveal at the end adds intrigue without overexplaining.

this episode was packed. the exam chaos was intense, and the animation during the fights was fluid. watching akira piece things together while trying to survive? the tension was real. the way the episode ended has me stressed for next week. 🔥

Another set of characters introduced, showcasing their skills, well they're recommended applicants so I can't blame that they got the moves here and there. But I can't forget my guy, Shin, sharpening his abilities slowly.

Most of the episode centers on Akira, expanding her role and importance in the story. Her connection to Akao who is mentioned alongside Nagumo and Sakamoto as one of the top of their class, raises questions about her background and relationship to that group.

Akira's ties to someone from Sakamoto's past just casually dropped mid-exam and now I need answers IMMEDIATELY. X's interference turning the exam into actual chaos is lowkey a genius plot device. MUST WATCH!! 😍😍

This episode is character-driven, balancing chaotic action with meaningful reveals. Sharp writing, memorable new characters, and a pivotal moment compensate for its shortcomings

This stage feels more stressful because there’s pressure coming from multiple directions.
It’s less controlled and more chaotic than earlier fights.
You can feel the difficulty spike here.

Stage 3 is more excitinggg. I like the new character Nao! Her character design is interesting, I would love to cosplay her. Cliffhanger in the end, about who actually is Akira.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 8 of 11, this marks the transition from the exam's survival-focused earlier stages into higher-stakes team trials that will likely define the arc's climax. The previous episode established the pressure of the JCC exam environment, and 'Exam, Stage Three' builds on that foundation by introducing new challengers and deeper character tests. With only three episodes remaining, this installment is positioned to set up the final confrontations and resolutions that will close out Part 2.
