thought it'll be a cool ep, but ended up as a badass one, it starts cold, transitions smoothly to the main part of the episode, the switch from a usual atmosphere to an intense one, especially Shin, you'll know it when you watch it, overall it keeps you hooked

HMMM. Introduction to new characters is always overrated but ended up downgraded. But ORDER is the coolest, really amazing their strength, and personality twist is unexpected. The car scene is peak for me. The soundtrack is great as well, and manga and animation graphics are lit

The episode jumps straight into chaos with multiple assassins attacking Sakamoto at once, and it immediately feels more intense than before.
The store turning into a battlefield again is familiar but still entertaining.
A strong opener that clearly raises the stakes.

Episode 1 serves as a strong introduction for Cour 2. It shows that the supporting characters can manage the tension and raise the power levels. It also provides an adrenaline rush while hinting at a darker path ahead.

Comes out of the gate swinging! The action of this episode is wild and so are the insults! Shin gets his big moment and you can't help routing for him in his fights, even if he doesn't always win. Not to mention the new song, banger!

Chaotic still fun to watch. The animation for Shin’s moment is fluid. The pacing picks up with some unexpected incident! The funny moments are the thing I waited for!! And Shin's growth is absolute banger⚡

Shin gets D-rank and has a MELTDOWN. Lu is C-rank. Sakamoto is B-rank. Saw is a serial killer who wants "exciting deaths." Shin's D-rank ranking is the real villain. Puppy therapy session was peak. 😂

A fast-paced return that throws you straight into action. The hardware store fight stands out with sharp choreography, while Shin’s struggle to read Saw adds tension. The episode balances chaos and growth, ending on a strong note of momentum.

Action-packed instantly: no warmup, just chaos. The escapees feel terrifyingly unhinged, raising the stakes fast. Shin’s growth under pressure stands out, while Sakamoto’s calm feels heavier than ever. Comedy still lands, but danger now dominates. High-stake conflict than before.

They started with a total banger. Saw is terrifying and insanely strong. a real death row inmate. And what perfect timing for Shin’s power-up. That’s a huge game changer.

Part 2 OPENS with serial killers massacring assassins back to back and zero breathing room. Saw is deeply unhinged in the most theatrical way. Shin's power starting to evolve mid-fight is a great tease. Love it must watch!! ❤️❤️

What I love about Sakomoto are the small details, the shadows and the lines. I also noticed that the drawing for Shin improved A LOT. When in the past episodes, his face looks weird and inconsistent where sometimes the face is too small, his forehead or eyes are too large. W Shin

Liked the introduction of deathrow inmates and where they land in the hierarchy with The Order and other hitmen to further build on the lore and world of the show.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the Part 2 premiere (episode 1 of 11), 'Overload' directly follows the conclusion of Part 1 where Sakamoto defended his quiet retirement against waves of assassins, and pivots the narrative into a significantly more dangerous phase with the introduction of death row inmate antagonists. This episode functions as both a tonal reset and a launchpad, establishing the new threat level and Shin's expanded role that will likely drive the season's core conflicts. Expect this premiere to lay groundwork that the remaining ten episodes will build upon with escalating confrontations.
