Watching Usagi on that cliff, I actually saw her come back to herself, going from just wanting her normal life back to having that absolute fire in her eyes to save Mamoru, no matter what. I swear Rei's slap was brutal, but it totally worked to kick Usagi into gear, and seeing them all together at sunrise, making that promise to find him, felt like a renewed vow of their entire mission.
