I can't believe how much that scene with Naru just broke me; seeing her clutching that tattered sleeve while screaming for Nephrite was absolutely gut-wrenching. It was such a wild tonal shift for Sailor Moon, going from silly monster-of-the-week stuff to a genuinely tragic death, and honestly, I found myself really rooting for them even though he was supposed to be a bad guy. Watching those sparkly bits just float away as she cried felt so unfair, like her pure heart couldn't even save him.
