Honestly, I was pretty surprised to get an episode all about how anime gets made, but finding out those animators were based on the actual directors was a neat little Easter egg for me! It was so refreshing to see Hiromi and Kazuko's friendship drama unfold and resolve, especially since it felt more real and less like the typical monster-of-the-week battles that usually take center stage.
