I was kinda thrown by the art style with those huge eyelashes today, but honestly, it totally fit the creepy vibe of the amusement park, and I actually felt a bit bad for Jadeite seeing him get so desperate. Beryl is so clearly about to lose it with him, especially after that doll monster draining energy from all the kids inside the candy house, which totally gave me the shivers; I can't imagine how terrifying that would be for them.
