Me encanta los sencillo y "tonto" que es Himura, pero una vez que decide pelear su aura cambia inmediatamente y se pone totalmente serio. El detalle de la espada le da un plus a sus nuevos objetivos

i've never seen the original so im going in on this blind! kenshin himura already has me HOOKED in this first episode alone because of his swordsmanship and also the way he talks? like he's echoing back LMAO what was that about? also this was lore heavy so i had to pay attention

Episode Context

As the series premiere of a 24-episode season, this episode exists purely to lay groundwork, introducing Kenshin, Kaoru, and the thematic pillars of redemption and societal transformation that will drive every arc to come. There's no preceding episode to build from, so the focus is entirely on first impressions and establishing tone. Episode 2, 'Tokyo Samurai - Yahiko Myojin,' immediately begins expanding the core cast and deepening the Meiji-era dynamics introduced here.
