Episode Context

Coming off Episode 18's resolution involving Yahiko and the reverse-edged sword, this episode pivots into a new arc centered on Raijūta's dangerous ambitions and his influence over the impressionable Yutarō. Still early in the series at episode 19 of 94, this marks the beginning of a fresh conflict that tests Kenshin's values against a fundamentally different kind of adversary, one who weaponizes idealism. It sets the stage for escalating moral dilemmas and confrontations in the episodes ahead.
