That was rather a confusing ending. Why was he looking for her? Well, this was probably my least ep by far. Doumoto was a conceited character, but he didn't have a strong impact character in this series despite his loud voice. I think that Hosoda was much more interesting than Doumoto, though. The pacing of the character development was slower than usual and nothing eventful happened in this part of the anthology.
Another glimpse into the mundane problems of a Japanese neighborhood. Doumoto-san temporarily takes over his wife's job and ends up working with a timid store owner and a Thai exchange student, making for a hilarious combination. 😂 Despite the comedy, the episode reminds us to stay curious. No matter how experienced we are in one field, starting in a new environment always means beginning from zero. And there's no harm in learning new things.
This one was on funny side - you'll get to know about service industry really well.. Doumoto-san's expressions were hilarious. It was like goofy, demon type. Also I like the foreign character added here- it was opposite of Doumoto-san's personality. Not much of a engaging story but was a funnier one.
