Flum sprints through a grim, arched corridor, her calls for Milkitto echoing in the oppressive silence. Her determined, worried face, marked with a red symbol, speaks of urgent purpose. Each heavy bootfall on the cold stone floor underscores her desperate quest. The scene sets a tone of impending dread and a hero's relentless pursuit.

We cut to Milkit, chained and bandaged, tears tracing paths down her bruised face as she stands on a platform of sharp spikes. An unsettling woman with elaborate white hair, her "antagonist woman", observes Milkit with a sinister smile, enjoying the sight of her captive's pain. This captor's mocking words underscore her cruel nature as she savors Milkit's suffering.

The Sadistic Woman continues her torment, but Milkit finds a quiet strength. Despite the pain of the spikes and a whipping, she cries out "A slave can't choose their master! You don't have that right!" It's a refusal to break, a desperate declaration of her own will and loyalty to Flum. The antagonist's surprise turns to anger, realizing her victim will not easily yield.

Back in the ominous halls, Flum encounters Fram, who surprisingly already knows of Flum's pursuit. Fram, ever observant, has uncovered the location of a secret room within the mansion. Flum's urgent plea to be led there, fueled by the terrifying thought of Ink and Milkit being inside, shows her escalating fear and resolve. Her eyes glow red with fierce determination.

Inside the secret room, Milkit's horror deepens as she spots Ink, unconscious and masked, amongst the torture implements. The Sadistic Woman continues to wield her blade, trying to force Milkit to reveal her face. She threatens Milkit with a spiked rose bed below, a gruesome fate for anyone who falls from the platform. The threat to Milkit's body becomes a test of her spirit.

Faced with the blade at her neck and the spiked pit below, Milkit chooses defiance, even as the blade draws blood. She silently chooses to endure the pain rather than betray her loyalty to Flum. Just as her chains begin to snap, freeing her to fall, a blur of red energy announces Flum's explosive arrival.

Flum appears in a cloud of dust, immediately striking the Sadistic Woman with a furious, glowing punch. Her rage is palpable, her repeated declarations of "I will not forgive you!" punctuating each blow. The Sadistic Woman is beaten savagely, sent sprawling onto the table of her own torture implements. Flum stands over her, tears of anguish and anger mixing on her face.

With her tormentor defeated, Flum rushes to Milkit, tears streaming down her face as she apologizes for not arriving sooner. She then frees a dazed Ink, her own tears flowing as she expresses deep remorse for unkind words spoken earlier. Flum's anguish is clear; her protective embrace of Ink shows a profound regret and an unbreakable bond.

The defeated Sadistic Woman is brutally dragged away by shadowy, zombie-like figures onto the spiked roses, her screams abruptly cut short. A dark portal then opens, and from it emerge two new, unsettling figures: Mutter, a large man in a pink apron, and the young, scarred Necro. Milkit identifies Mutter as her kidnapper, and Mutter introduces himself chillingly as "Mother", his apron bearing the word, twisting the concept of family into something grotesque.

Mother casually asserts that his "children" have cores instead of hearts, deeming Ink a "defective, useless one." Ink, though hurt, fiercely refutes his twisted ideology, declaring her friends Flum and Milkit are her true family. She recalls joyous moments with Flum, Milkit, Eterna, and Walshy, moments of genuine connection that stand in stark contrast to Mother's cold, manufactured bonds.

Mother continues to taunt Ink, reminding her of her monstrous nature and dependency on medicine, suggesting her friends merely tolerate her. Overwhelmed, Ink makes a desperate choice. With tears in her eyes, she looks at Flum and pleads, "I want to die as a human!" It's a heartbreaking declaration of sacrifice, a desire to shed her monstrous identity for the sake of her chosen family.

Flum is visibly distraught by Ink's declaration, struggling with the weight of her friend's choice. In this moment of crisis, Eterna steps forward, offering quiet, profound reassurance. She tells Flum, "You don't have to do anything. Just be with Ink." This simple statement, repeated with gentle insistence, cuts through the complex pain, reinforcing the power of unwavering presence and acceptance over any grand gesture or desperate solution.
