The episode has a cool, nostalgic sci-fi aesthetic, but it is an absolute mess of clumsy exposition and rigid. It sets up an intriguing concept.

It was a really exciting first episode, I'm intrigued about how they will work out the time travel thingy. I would say some of the story are generic or I've seen them before and I think animation is average for now.
