Synopsis
The year is 2050. A young engineer named Derrida Yvain became famous thanks to his contribution to the development of the "Autonomous Machine DZ" at Rebuild, the manufacturing company founded by his father. One day, Derrida and his colleague Nathan discover a flaw in the DZs and try to warn their boss, but are ignored. Although Derrida and Nathan are aware of the danger, they reluctantly decide to put off taking any measures, and instead go to Nathan's daughter Mage's birthday party. The next day, after enjoying a peaceful day, Derrida and Nathan are suddenly attacked by unknown forces. At the end of the escape, Derrida falls into a cold sleep machine and 10 years later, he wakes up to a devastated world in the middle of a war. While Derrida is attacked by a group of out of control DZs, he almost gives up, but he recalls Nathan's last words. "Take care of Mage." Despite the harsh fate that has fallen upon him, Derrida sets off to seek Mage.

The pacing is much faster than the last couple of episodes. It has the strongest action in the series in my opinion, large scale battles making the whole episode feel intense. But i have to say it, millions of bullets are shot, but none of them hit...
So that's the ending? we get to see them reminisce memories? I feel like they could've done better from the start. That explains the plot holes I've been noticing. I'm actually disappointed and I didn't feel anything towards them seeing Mage.
Not really a fan of this episode. We got to see some action but honestly it didn't really impact that much. The story was very much predictable. I was disappointed because they did build up some anticipation just to give us this. I'm just glad that It's just one episode left.
Honestly, I don't even care about this character haha. Why do we have to slow down the pace and get the whole episode just to tell the past of a background character? I feel like the story should've moved more. It's crazy how they go in this direction after 9 episodes.
