📖 SYNOPSIS

Yamaoka Momosuke, a writer weary of children's riddles, aims to compile a collection of spooky and gruesome stories for his anthology, Hyakumonogatari. While researching these old myths and legends, he encounters the Ongyou, a mysterious trio of detectives. The Ongyou are dedicated to investigating the truths behind the legends and bringing those responsible for wrongdoing to justice. Each encounter with the Ongyou forces Momosuke to confront disturbing realities and grapple with his own morals. As he delves deeper into the world of these tales, he begins to witness things he was never meant to see.
