Synopsis
With her late grandfather's inspiring words in mind, Chizuru Mizuhara teams up with her friend Kazuya Kinoshita to launch a crowdfunding campaign for an amateur film. The two hope that with the success of the project, Chizuru can honor her grandparents' wishes before she loses her grandmother as well. After their wild encounters with three girls—Kazuya's clingy "trial" girlfriend, Ruka Sarashina; their nosy new next-door neighbor, Mini Yaemori; and Chizuru's shy work friend, Sumi Sakurasawa—they all collaborate together to reach the campaign goal and begin production of the film. As their ambitious endeavor progresses, Chizuru and Kazuya grow closer and begin to struggle with their mutual feelings.

A delightful ending! The humour, subtly woven into the romance, creates a charmingly innocent atmosphere that is sure to make you laugh. I love the way the emotions are handled, the more you watch, the more life lessons you can take away. It was such a relief to finally understand Mizuhara's true feelings and determination. I can't wait for the next season, it's bound to be even better.
Honestly, this episode is great as an ending episode. It concludes the arc we started from. We get to see some character improvement from Kazuya albeit still having disgusting moments. Learning about Chizuru's grandparents more with heartbreaking conclusions, and a nice new character taking a form of a "Wingman" which happened to be one of my favorite characters they introduce!
This is a fun episode to watch as Kazuya tries to cheer up Chizuru after her grandma's funeral. Having to watch Chizuru put on a brave face throughout the date is heartbreaking even though she makes it seem like she is fine.
This is a nice break after the super emotional previous episode. Sumi's cuteness is incredible, as if there's rainbows and butterflies every time she's around. Were finally getting some emotional intelligence from Kazuya.
Oh man, I cant remember the last time I cried like this before, I feel like vomiting. Truly heartbreaking episode. This episode really knows how to pull your heartstrings and it does not let go. If you watch this episode, make sure you have water and tissues nearby
This is one emotionally charged episode! The emotional rollercoaster you will feel is insane as we get a glimpse of Chizuru's past. This episode should not be skipped
You CANNOT watch the first half of the episode on a speaker or without earphones if you plan on watching this in the public for some reason. The first half is a fanservice but the second half is full of emotional moments, balancing out the vibe. This is a good episode overall but can be skimmed if you're not a fan of moaning and such
Such stunning visuals and dialogues this episode has! The tension between Chizuru and Kazuya throughout the episode is palpable. Kazuya has some great moments RUINED by his perverted mind. Wish they would lessen those moments.
I really like this episode. Kazuya's monologue during the filming scene after the cicada is really good as he dabbles with "Where will i be?", I would have liked to see more scenes of them filming but its alright. There is loads of good conversation happened in this episode. Mini is mischievous by orchestrating their "date"!
This is such a delight of an episode. Mini Yaemori is a gift that keeps on giving! Her interaction with Kazuya on the parking lot is really funny. The drama in Chizuru's career makes this episode interesting.
Mini Yaemori really carried this episode! It feels like Kazuya is the "ideas" guy and Yaemori came in with the guns and pushed his project to the roof. The "handing out fliers" scene with Sumi and Kazuya was funny as it dabbles with the attractiveness of "Marketing" between a man and a woman.
Their interactions with each other is interesting. The conversation between Chizuru and her grandma is wholesome, it does not feel forced just for sympathy. I really hate how Kazuya just keep glancing on the chest area as if its where his eyes naturally goes to. The new character adds more spice to the story which i like as well, hopefully the story grow more interesting
The season finale flows well, giving us that intense, heavy emotional release before transitioning into a wrap-up for the movie project. Just when you think the vibes are finally settling into a comfy place, that final post-credits appearance drops a massive bomb that has me desperate for the next season.
The way the date flows is perfect moving from fun and active moments to a nice ending. The animation during last dating activitiy looked so clean.
Cuteness overoveroverload in this episode. Sumi is absolute best girl material for dragging Kazuya out of his own head. The scenery and ocean visuals looked pretty and calming.
The emotional flow of the episode is just heartbreaking, quiet grief that leaves you feeling completely empty. The animation did a phenomenal job capturing the subtle, painful expressions.
The tone shifts so fast and breaks your heart by the end. The pacing in this episode is a total emotional rollercoaster.

I was deeply moved by Kazuya’s efforts towards Mizuhara. Watching it, I felt so happy and delighted, knowing that he had successfully achieved his goal. The funny moments involving money had me in stitches🤣 But Mizuhara’s emotional growth deserves recognition. She’s so strong and mature. It was quite painful to watch, though.
This is genuinely heart warming after such a heart wrenching episode😭 Sumi's feelings for Kazuya are sincere. Their antics are hilarious and entertaining. The visuals are beautifully presented and a real treat for the eyes. I absolutely love them! I’m curious to see what Kazuya will do next.
