Again with this anime and the unnecessary scenes. Does Kain's "training" has to be shown? If there's none of it, we STILL won't be missing anything. Besides everything, I do like the plot, it seemed fun and weirdly enough I think Kain is a good character, as we get to see him interact with someone he knows from his previous sect.
Stupid waterfall scene, made me reload the page like 3 times thinking the audio was bugged, lol. I liked the way Kain was talking about that invisible wall we all met al least once in our lives, very deep. The fight scene was simple but it was very good tho
The best episode so far. Riku managed to become a scam artis that encourages the villagers to be hard workers while fooling them to believe that becoming a Hermit is attainable for the common folk. The ex-antagonist has a surprising profound backstory and battle, though the action is lacking in choreography. I also like the fact Riku's childhood friend is still a pivotal character in the conflict.
