It's good to see the girls bonding again and trying to be optimistic, despite knowing what will happen to them eventually. That's something I needed to see again. On the other hand, there's also tragic vibes. Seeing Lula cry for the first time somehow hits hard. The voice acting really sold the emotional pain for me. And then there's the ending, because oh boy, it's getting pretty ugly now. Emotionally heavy episode all around!

I actually loved that the show slowed things down here. After everything that's happened, watching the girls finally stop and think about what kind of future they even want felt surprisingly emotional. Meanwhile, you can tell things are quietly moving behind the scenes, and that uneasy feeling never really goes away. Red Garden really knows how to make a "calm" episode feel anything but calm.

I think it's a weird contrast that just now the girls are reminiscing about Lise at the same time all the other stuff is happening to her. The reminiscing should have come up way before in the series but I guess it makes sense in the context of the memory stuff they're trying to come to terms with.
