EPISODE REVIEWS

Seeing Miaomiao's living condition as a cat I feel like I want to be a cat too. Hahaha A man with a cat is soooo very cute and warm.

Ji Miaomiao's cat form is KAWAII 😻, the comedic scenes are to the point and quite funny 😂 I'm loving it. What I really like about this donghua is that Lu Chengze already know about her true identity which rarely happened in Reborn themed animes.

Episode Context

As the second episode of a 36-episode run, this is pure foundation, the series is still onboarding its audience into the supernatural premise and the key relationship between Lu and the cat. Episode 1 likely established the reincarnation hook, and this episode appears to cement the domestic setup that the rest of the season will build its romance and comedy around. With 34 episodes still ahead, expect the stakes and emotional complexity to ramp significantly from here.
