Episode Context

As episode 1 of 36, this is pure world-building and character establishment, the series plants its flag on who Ji Miaomiao is before everything changes. The supernatural premise is introduced but not yet fully explored, setting up the transition into episode 2, 'Lu Has a Cat,' where the central dynamic between Miaomiao's new form and her boss Lu Chengze begins to take shape. This premiere is the calm before a long-arc transformation story kicks into gear.
