EPISODE REVIEWS

Subaru's hesitation to see Emilia was devastatingly realistic. After everything that had happened between them, the sloth guy strikes again. I'm most interested in seeing what he chooses to do to finally defeat him!

Episode Context

Episode 23 pushes deep into the Witch Cult confrontation arc that has dominated the back half of the season, directly following the revelations and escalation of 'A Flash of Sloth.' With only two episodes remaining, this installment accelerates the conflict toward its peak, positioning Subaru and his allies for the climactic showdown that 'The Self-Proclaimed Knight and the Greatest Knight' will deliver next.
