Puck's huge form was absolutely terrifying! All of Subaru's back-to-back ordeals make his character extremely sympathetic, but frustrating at the same time. There's always some unpredictable new factor he has to look out for which makes the future feel terrifying.

Rem's talk with Subaru felt super necessary, her presence always transcended his loops and she was always there for him. I felt bad for her across his loops ngl, Subaru as the main character feels really hard to support and watch. Her talk with him was grounding, and so sincere.

the "from zero" moment we needed. rem's entire speech about believing in subaru even when he hates himself? that's the most emotionally devastating thing this show has done. subaru finally admitting he's worthless and wants to run away, and rem responding with "i know, but i love you anyway" is peak. rem officially best girl forever.

It took a whole episode to talk to REM??!! Totally fine for me! Also the music with the wind blowing and birds flying at the near end of the episode is so dramatic. Ohhh Waifuuuu!!!!!!

This episode is all about feelings. The long talk in the carriage feels real and honest. Rem’s speech hits deep. Subaru finally starts to stand up again. No big fight, just strong emotions. One of the best episodes of the season.
