I am quite disappointed in the ending. All those boring planning episodes, new character introductions, they all turned out to be pointless. The biggest moral story of this anime is forgiveness and not trying to defeat the villain with powers.

Cutting the episode count could have focused the story on the main conflict. A shorter 12 or 13 episode run would have removed the extra characters who did not help in the climax. This would keep the energy high from start to finish. Instead of a slow drama that gets lost in the middle, the series would be lean and intense. Every moment would actually matter for the final payoff. If you lack patience, this series can be a real struggle to finish. If you are looking for constant action or a fast-moving plot, the slow pacing will likely ruin the experience for you.

Finally the end of this eyesore. Story started abruptly and stayed full of plot holes and loose ends. Characters and plot barely made sense. Animation was good, but definitely not worth 22 episodes, it dragged way too much.
