This episode really got the plot moving in the Nightingale arc. The pacing was excellent, and the soundtrack was peak as always. The way this arc connects to the previous one before the timeline shift is incredibly mind-bending that I found myself completely locked in, trying to piece everything together and understand how it all fits.

This is where the arc really locks in. The episode layers mystery, old wounds, and emotional baggage so well that every conversation feels loaded with meaning. The deeper Sakuta digs, the more uneasy everything becomes. Absolute page turning energy, but in anime form.

What a way to extract details about the situation. Digging up the past like that was pretty shocking since we, the viewers, don't know much either. The santa claus girl keeps making her appearance but her role is still not clear. She even disappears pretty quickly. What a tease. But what is clear is Akagi's puberty syndrome cause - a pretty standard situation that fits within the realm of the series.
