Episode Context

Sitting at episode 135 of 161, this is deep into the show's later stretch where standalone filler episodes dominate. It follows 'Gosunkugi's Paper Dolls of Love,' another one-off centered on a quirky magical gimmick disrupting the Tendo household, and precedes 'Master and Student... Forever!?,' which shifts focus to Ranma's contentious relationship with Happosai. No serialized arc is in play here, this is purely episodic entertainment between character-driven vignettes.
