Ranma is making a tough decision here, Akane or Shampoo, hahaha. Very tough choices, huh? 😂😂 This episode mixes action, comedy, and character development. I love the beach setting.

There are still some parts that doesn't need to have those sound effect character pop-ups. The animation is still consistently good and suspense I felt when Ranma was asked who to choose between Shampoo and Akane is the same as when I watched the 1989 anime. A great remake of the beach episode, it retained how chaotic and fun of a watch that was on the 1989 anime👌

Beach episode!! As usual, a really fun and over the top experience and we finally get somewhere. This episode was fast paced, and went by so quick, one of the reason I really loved about the episode.

Episode Context

Sitting at the early-to-mid point of the season, this episode follows 'Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire,' where Ranma grappled with mastering a new technique tied to the Phoenix Pill storyline, that thread carries forward here beneath the comedic surface. The beachside competition format serves as a bridge to the next episode, 'It's Fast or It's Free,' which introduces yet another unconventional martial arts contest, continuing the season's pattern of escalating absurd challenges while advancing character dynamics.
