There is the usual training montage but I didn't get to see what his actual training was. I did have a hunch of what his weapon would be, It could be a dagger or rapier since they are both light and doesn't need much strength to use. The scene at the end is very intriguing

A training arc that skips every cliché the genre usually leans on. The mentor dynamic here is funny and surprising and occasionally unexpectedly touching. Bojji's stubbornness played as physical comedy and is quite effective.

What a ciffhanger at the end there wow. Anyways this was a really great episode. That new guy was fun, you can expect some things about him but he still surprises here and there.
The pacing was very much ok in this episode honestly.

Things start moving fast here, and the stakes feel more immediate. The pacing is tighter, and the story begins to feel more urgent. ⚡

Slower episode in terms of action, but it gives us interesting updates to the plot. Despa is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. Boji is on his growth journey, to become stronger and worthy of the throne. We see him struggle and we cheer for his success.

It's full of meme-worthy reactions as Bojji & Kage started getting familiar in Desper's household. Desper is a great teacher, fully believing his student's potential without mock him. The atmosphere at the castle has become colder, with wickedness started to fill the air.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 7 of 23, this marks a clear transition point — Bojji's earlier quest for strength and his departure from the kingdom now crystallize into structured growth under Despa's guidance. The preceding episodes established Bojji's resolve and the political turmoil surrounding his claim to the throne, and this episode pivots toward the personal development that will define his capabilities going forward. It's foundational setup for the challenges ahead, bridging Bojji's raw determination with the skills he'll need as the season's stakes escalate.
