📖 SYNOPSIS
"Pupa" centers on Utsutsu and Yume Hasegawa, a brother and sister navigating life on their own. Their already difficult existence takes a dark turn when Yume encounters a mysterious red butterfly. This encounter triggers a bizarre metamorphosis, transforming Yume into a creature with a ravenous appetite for human flesh. Driven by a deep bond, Utsutsu is determined to find a solution to his sister's horrifying condition. The anime explores the lengths one will go to protect a loved one and the struggles of survival in the face of the unknown. The story focuses on the siblings' relationship and their fight against the monstrous changes Yume undergoes.
