This episode goes into more detail about what magical girls and the dangers they could face. What I really appreciate so far is that it's not actually going down the typical route of magical girl shows where the protagonist immediately accepts the responsibility - but rather, they're given the space to process what it means to become one. The fight within the Witch Labyrinth was also quite cool, the unsettling vibe of the art there was really moving.

I love how we got to know more about the magical girls, such as the soul gem. The soundtrack from this anime is so beautiful, it's so ethereal. It's so funny how Hitome kept telling Madoka and Sayaka that girls cant be with girls because she misunderstood them being together.

This episode shows that becoming a magical girl is not as simple as fighting the evil and looking cute, is far more dangerous and complex and even if Madoka have fear, she have a strong resolve to become someone capable of protecting others
