This episode had me grinning the whole time. Watching them enjoy each other's company was so much fun, and I already love their group dynamic. I can't wait to see them meet the Northern Wizards!
This was a somewhat better episode compared to the previous ones. The sabotage plot here gives a clear conflict and the resolution here was very satisfying. The writing also really handles the plot well. The pacing here is definitely much better, it flows more naturally. The animation still feels limited in movement but the designs are consistent and I like what they did with the color work in the parade, it was visually appealing.
A tense mid-season turning point is what I can say about this episode. The visual framing heavily emphasises the distinct height and design differences of the wizards, using sharp split-screens to highlight internal friction over how to handle the moon's power.
