Pop Team Epic Season 2

More unhinged from season 1, more double middle finger to flips

I did like the Boomer Team Epic segment despite feeling like i was missing some cultural context as it pertains to Japanese stand up. Pretty wholesome and slower segment compared to this shows usual style.

Them almost completely talking over the documentary footage was funny. That coffee refill section is a nightmare scenario for me oml.

I liked the longer section parodying old school delinquent anime lol. Thy even got the animation style to a T,

That was an exciting way to wrap up the season. Watching this in 2026 while T.M. Revolution is actually trending right now is really funny. I don't know the extent of how nostalgic and awesome this must be for fans who know and love them, but I imagine this really hyped the viewers up. Overall, this was very fun.

The battle royale game parody was pretty funny. Also I just now noticed this but the ending visuals for each episode have been unique.

What the heck were those animals at the start talking about? 😭 There's a pretty long comedy skit segment with many layers to it that I probably missed, but the other parts were also fun. The ED animation sure was interesting...

I gotta respect the dedication to do the entire episode on sketchpads. That being said, if ur not a fan of the Bob Team Epic segment this episode isn't for you

The 3D intro was so trippy, but I appreciate how good the animation is all the time despite Popuko and Pipimi's simple designs. 😭 The skits are very creative and I liked the video game parody. There's another Final Fantasy reference, LOL.

I really liked how different the visuals and endings were between the two versions of "POP Memories to YOU". The art quality was super good

One thing I noticed is for every episode, there's always one or two longer segments that have more of a narrative than the shorter, chaotic ones. For this ep, I really liked that specific longer segment. It was actually wholesome? Also, the intro caught me off guard. 😭

As usual, so many things happen at once and I had to replay a few scenes to understand them because it goes so fast, but boy was it hilarious. The battle royale part was fun as someone who used to play those with friends. Listen to Pipimi, okay?

Did not expect to see a Thomas the Tank Engine reference. Can't believe they cancelled my favorite section :(

Pretty funny episode. They really are using that budget because why was the lighting so good for the Train Battle section?

The Poputan section was so funny omg specifically with the male VAs. All the changes in voice inflections and ad libs they added were super funny. Probably my favorite episode for that section alone.

That intro went hard, I'm not gonna lie. 🤣 The whole episode is basically told through kamishibai storytelling, which I had to look up, by the way. I really wish I knew more about Japanese culture so I could understand all the references, but that was so creative and funny.

Ngl feels like the budget for this season is higher. Also the actual op is a banger imo. I will admit the mecha part references were lost on me but it was still enjoyable regardless.

Pop team epic is back! It's still stupid and funny. Big fan of the new B-side section, very funny as someone who tends to watch the type of shows it's parodying.

NOOOOOO i didn't realise this was the last episode !!! i was enjoying this show too much i thought it would last long T___T lmao we're back with the blue coat twink ! they certainly used up every minute in this episode, i love the ending with aoi dancing with our two main characters ! ngl this was a great ending to season 2

the art style in the first segment was really satisfying to watch. i loved the brush pen style it had lol. it was nice to see our main characters as old women reconnecting again !! LMAO my biggest fear is getting tickled to death hell nah ~boner panty signing off
