Episode Context

Sitting past the halfway mark at episode 56 of 93, this follows directly from Goomy's recent introduction to Ash's team and serves as a critical bonding episode that deepens its integration with the group. The focus on Goomy's relationships, especially with Dedenne, lays essential groundwork for its upcoming evolution arc and the larger challenges the team will face in the back half of the XY season. It's a necessary character-building chapter that makes future Goomy-centric payoffs land with more weight.
