Episode Context

Picking up directly from Episode 30's cave trial where Korrina secured the Lucarionite, this episode delivers the payoff of that quest while introducing new complications around mastering Mega Evolution. It marks a critical midpoint in Korrina's multi-episode arc and sets the stage for her journey to Pomace Mountain for further training. At roughly one-third through XY's 93-episode run, this stretch establishes Mega Evolution as a central thematic pillar for the series going forward.
