Episode Context

Sitting early in the 136-episode run, this is a filler installment that follows the Sinnoh Iceberg Race and continues establishing the core Journeys format, Ash and Goh hopping between regions to encounter rare Pokémon. While it doesn't advance the World Coronation Series or any major serialized plot, it reinforces the duo's shared drive to seek out Legendary Pokémon, a throughline that will fuel numerous adventures across the season.
