Episode Context

Sitting at episode 80 of 136, this lands squarely in the season's middle stretch where Goh's Project Mew storyline gains increasing prominence alongside Ash's competitive journey. It follows the events of 'Night and Day, You Are the Ones!' and directly sets the stage for 'Mad About Blue!', functioning as a connective chapter that advances Goh's trial-based progression within Project Mew.
