Pokémon Journeys: The Series Episode 128: Climax! The Night Before the Decisive Battle! Satoshi VS Dande!!

The Brave Asagi rests, an imposing vessel against the cityscape, a testament to the journey yet to come. Inside, Liko applies herself to intricate mechanical work, sparks flying from her tools, a picture of quiet dedication. Friede and Captain Pikachu watch the world outside, ever vigilant. This is a moment of calm, but one filled with unspoken anticipation for what lies ahead.

The simple act of sharing a meal becomes a backdrop for growing tension. Roy devours his spaghetti with an almost childlike glee, oblivious to the undercurrents. But Dot breaks the peace, voicing her worries about the Black Rayquaza, a shadow falling over the cheerful gathering. The casual dinner cannot hold against the weight of her unspoken fears.

Dot suggests she is not strong enough, proposing a retreat from her active role. Roy, immediate and passionate, rejects her assessment, seeing it as a betrayal of their shared goal. Liko's expression shifts, caught between her friends, unsure how to mediate the sudden discord. Dot's words, meant to be practical, instead spark open conflict.

Alone, Dot faces her reflection in the glow of her tablet, scrolling through images of powerful Terastal types. The sheer scale of the challenge against the Black Rayquaza presses down on her. Her silence is a heavy thing, filled with the internal argument about her own worthiness.

In a stark shift, Iono appears, her electric Bellibolt beside her, observing the world with a cool detachment. She watches Quaxly, Tinkaton, and Pawmot during a training session. Quaxly performs with surprising agility and power, kicking buckets, its movements fluid and precise. Iono's small, satisfied smile, confirmed by a checkmark on her device, reveals her true purpose: assessment.
