Sitting at episode 116 of 136, this is deep into the climactic Masters Eight Tournament that the entire Journeys series has been building toward. The previous episode kicked off the tournament with its first quarterfinal battle, and this second matchup between Lance and Diantha continues to establish the semifinal bracket while raising the competitive bar.
